area 4 stuff
Welcome to metroil devlog. To start, I'm not planning on doing another build before I finish at least the main story and world of the game. I finished work on the 3rd boss last week, and progress on area 4 has been going smoothly. If you look at the image, you can see area 4 is up here, and it's now possible to jump up there. I'm also planning on putting a save point in area 3 by the way, so that you don't lose your new e tank after going through the whole zone. As for the scale of the game, area 4 will have a mini-boss, and then lead into the final boss zone, which will not be as long as usual areas. It will probably still take a while though cuz I have a lot planned for the last encounter, plus stuff that happens after. (Including secret zones😱)
In terms of bug fixes, I've fixed the majority of glitches related to the weapon that stops enemies from moving. I really want to make the mobility item you get in area 2 work better, but it's difficult to stop collision issues in the system I've made. If you have any glitches you'd like to see fixed, please write it in the comments of this devlog. thanks for reading 😊
